Trouble I have a psp and i accidently placed it on a chair and it slid off and fell to floor, now when i turn it on the umd is not readit says on screen game cannot be read

Try another UMD disc. If it also gives an error, chances are the lens of the drive got damaged from the fall.

My umd is not working how can i fix this

The problem is that when your brother dropped it ,, he must have broken something in the reader , where now the reader cant be able to read the UMD disks an easy solution is to make there is no dust in the UMD reading place or trapped in the UMD, second of all if the reader is really broken you can go to the nearest psp fix shop he will tell you the problem and whether you wanna fix it or not... finally, the most preferred way is by giving up on UMD and start using psp isos downloaded from the internet for free,, all you need is a memory stick preferred 2gb or higher... and a CFW which u can find tutorials all over youtube finally you just play the games off of your psp memory stick for free... hope it helps ^^

Psp makes beeping noises and wont play any umds

mate make sure the case of your umd is correctyly placed and put your finger on the umd (where it spins) its like a little circle color silver move it with your finger and make sure it spins..

My psp fell down slightly and it can not play umds.when i insert a umd, it makes a funny noise and after some time shows that it can not read umd. please help

it sounds like the laser is out of adjustment you will need to send it in or if your warranty is still good have it warrantied

oohhh hat was great relief for me ! i just squeesed 2 orange peal wih some ginger juice into the umd slott & enchaned a magical spell. it got all right after yhis inciden.. if u wanna know hose magical words plez conact me at my google account . belive me there is something called magic

PSP Problem

I dont know how technical savvy you are but there are several DIY guides on the internet to replace the UMD drive which often fails on the PSP.

Check out this website for a complete tutorial.

you can find hte UMD parts on ebay usually as well

If not type in google psp repair.. there are plenty of place that do repairs.

Dropped psp

you will have to open it to see what is out of place or broken.
you can star to open the umd drive and look for something out of place.
