I am very confused about the selection of right "ANTIVIRUS", I have "AVIRA" & "AVAST" home editions, both are detecting viruses............Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeez answer my problem as soon as possible.

Dear Sir,
Avasta and Avira are good antivirus for home use,But Avasta offers more features compare to Avira,main drawback of Avira is it slows down the system.So you can use avast for your PC.If you want to purchase best antivirus go for Kaspersky 2010 Antivirus.

well that is the problem .. if you have more than one anti-virus program installed and running they will detect one another and report viruses.
you need to decide on one and stick with it. Personally I have used AVG anti-virus and I have been very satisfied with it. easy to use interface and it rates web searches and warns you of attack sites befor you open them. very handy.
you also should install a spyware program. Spybot search and destroy is free ware that is excellent and will run in conjunction with anti-virus w/o confusing the program.

I personally use Avast and that is working fine for me, so if you will follow my suggestion I will stick with Avast as my anti virus.
