Question about Toshiba TDP D2 Multimedia Projector
A shadow appears on the screen image, covering about a third of the screen image. Replacing the lamp has not changed anything.
A mirror got loose in the opening from where the bulb sends the light to the "panel" It is blocking part of the light.
I'm not talking about one of the tiny mirrors that makes up the DLP, but there is silver box where the bulb light initially goes. the walls are lined with mirrors whose adhesive fails when exposed to great heat.
I can easily fix it, as i have fixed many of them from this problem.

Try cleaning the lens, if that doesnt work try taking the fan out and cleaning the place where the light goes.
