Check your mouse properties from the:

Control Panel >> Mouse.

It will open the Mouse Properties and under the wheel tab, you can set the following number of lines at a time. I've captured a screen shot for your reference below. Goodluck and please let me know if this helped you, otherwise we could find other solutions.

Want to change the screen that is on when you turn the computer on with the toolbars on it....homescreen?

you mean the desktop. your mouse has two or three items where your fingers are. one is the left mouse button. another is a scroll wheel. not all mice have scroll wheels.the last item is the right mouse button. click this on your "desktop" a kool little menu with a selection that says "Properties" roll your little pointer to the properties word and LEFT click on it. this will bring up your awesum window that allows you to put pretty pictures as your background, change how big your icons are and change the colors and window colors. in this realm, be careful cause its dangerous! Caution!

My pc desktop is moving left & right with cursor of mouse

It sounds like you have zoomed in on your screen image, so your screen is showing you only a portion of your desktop. In this situation, you move to a different region of the screen using the mouse cursor, as you describe.
You can zoom back out by holding down the CONTROL key while rolling your mouse's scroll wheel (or scrolling with two fingers on the surface of an Apple Magic Mouse).

I am on an acer laptop and i somehow zoomed out really far on the internet broswer and now its so small i can barely read this! please tell me how to make the internet fit the screen

there is a short using Ctrl Button on the Keyboard and the scroll button on your mouse. Just press Ctrl while moving the wheel on you mouse. While pressing Ctrl, the forward roll of the wheel would Zoom IN the Page and on the other hand, the backward roll of the wheel would further Zoom OUT the Page. this technique is alos applicable on other application like word, excel, ppoint, acrobat reader etc...

Logitech 8043770000 it do not respond to the button feature on left side which should enable me to schroll my chart down the screen

The scroll button should be the wheel. rolling back the wheel should scroll for you. you can also auto scroll by pushing down on the wheel and gently pulling the mouse backward. (faster you pull the mouse, faster it scrolls)

Hi Randy329,

Thanks for your posting in FIXYA.

Method 1:
Please remove the Mouse connector from the PC cabinet. Reboot it.

Again plug it then try.

Also check your device manager if showing any yellow mark.

Method 2:
Go To Control panel -- > Select Mouse -- > Open the Tab --> Wheel --> Check its speed set it up 3-5. Please uncheck "One Screen at a Time", if selected.

Wireless Dell mouse, wheel in middle, 2 buttons, black and silver.

First try to reinstall the updated driver for your mouse. If this does not work, it could be that the mouse is worn out and you may need to replace it...
