You can use Windows Media Player to rip your CD, but you have to set your Preference to MP3.

Use a program like CDBurnerXP - free and easy to use.- to burn your CD.

It will not possible to COPY songs from a commercially (original disc) available easily as you copy a regular file. In such cases you need to RIP the music files from the disc. There are soft-wares available that can rip files off the disc. Click on the link below:

http://www.freerip.com

Download and install Freerip. You can save t as mp3 format and copy to a cd to play in devices that play mp3 format or copy in wav format and then create a CD using a CD authoring software to create a regular disk. However, please note that copyright protected material should only be copied, if you own the original CD and should be done done only for archiving.

Casette to disc

to convert music from cassett to disk u need to connect the cassett player headphone jack / line out jack to ur PC/laptop mike / line in jack....then play the music and record it in a software(Nero Sound editor etc)
then once that's done save it as mp3 file on to ut PC and trf it to ur cd/disk....u can just copy it as mp3 or create a music cd using Nero...from the mp3 file
the difference is if u just copy the mp3 on to the cd then only a mp3 player/mp3 music system deck can play it... if it's created as a music cd then any cd player can play it....just like any music cd that u buy in the mkt...
a 700 mb disk can hold almost 7 to 10 hrs of music in mp3 format....
but a music disk can hold only 80 mins of music

I copied cd audio files onto mp3 player and need to change to a audio type that is supoerted

First of all you have to RIP your files from Audio Disc. To do that you can use Windows Media Player. Start Windows Media Player, in top of the screen you should have a button " RIP ", click it. Click Start and then you cand find the files by default in My Music folder from My Documents. Then copy the Ripped Files to the MP3 player. This work only if your mp3 player supports wma files if not try to download Audio Grabber ( http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/download.html ) to RIP files from Audio cd in mp3 format. After you ripped the files copy them to mp3 player.

Will a Fisher MP3/MP4 Digital Player work with an I-mac computer?

You should be able to download this from the manufacturer's web site.

If not, find a computer with a tray type CD drive and copy the files from the small CD to either a normal size DVD or a thumb drive and you should be in business.

Set Up

It sounds like you have not copied all the files onto your NEW CD.
Do not try to copy the files manually. I suggest you use a disc copying programe which will copy any hidden files.
Alternatively, set your computer to ' show all hidden files' then you can copy them manually.
Any probs with this contact me.
