Question about RCA F36650 36" TV

No sound i have a 36'' Rca. I just replaced the flyback. I now have pictrue but still do not have sound. Could the flyback have effected the sound?

    look around the flyback; sometimes a voltage developed off of the flyback may be used for the audio circuit---look for any burnt or discolored resistors around the flyback.

Check the chroma section the where the sound section is attach flyback is only for picture and fucos.try to resolder the ic having 72pin.check also ur speaker.sometime there is a capacitor near the the pin 53 replace that.

A shorted horizontal output transistor or shorted flyback. If the flyback is shorted replace also its HOT.

A common cause is a failure in the horizontal output stage. I have had a defective flyback transformer cause this.

Also, when the flyback fails it sometimes takes out the horizontal output transistor and some other parts with it. It is possible that the power supply has some damage from the failure.

Sorry, that is common for generic replacement xformers for
your make / model . There are some adjustments to minimize
the effect in servicer menu...............you can try turning down the
screen control a bit....................T.

check for high voltage s3ection of your TV. A Flyback transformer is defective especially in the high voltage cale of your flyback....
