Question about Uniden DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone ID
Since you declined to specify the model of your Uniden system I can only suggest that you select it from the list beginning here to download a copy of the manual. You may have to settle for either four or six instead of five.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

the cordless phone was working in power and inbuild batteries. answering machine is not like that. It does not have inbuild batteries! keep seperate batteries for answering machine OR otherwise keep UPS.

Log into your Vonage account and change the number of rings or seconds to intercept for VM. In my Packet8 service, I can set a number of parameters for dual ring, intercept, and/or turn voice mail on and off. The last time I worked on a customer's Vonage we could do the same.

On the side of the base unit there is a switch (looking at the unit, it is the right side). The switch has 3 positions, 2/4/TS. 2 means the unit will answer after 2 rings, 4 after 4 rings, and TS (toll saver) means it will answer after 4 rings if it has no messages waiting and 2 if it does.
The owner's manual can be located at this link - http://www.uniden.com/pdf/EXAI985HSom.pdf

1) With the phone in standby mode, press the menu/clock key three times.
You hear “Ring time” and the current ring time ([2 ], [ 4], [6 ], [T ] Toll
saver), and it is displayed on the main base. Then you hear the guidance for setting
the ring time.
2) Press the volume/select/ or up or down arrow key until the desired ring time appears.
3) Press the set key to select the new ring time. You hear a confirmation tone, then
the announcement “Ring time” followed by the new ring time. After a few
seconds, the system announces “To set record time, press menu again.”
