I have the same problem. It skips over the iPod option. I will briefly say "read" then the display changes to TT 160

Once you get the aux cable and plug it in, what next? I did that and still get no music and the display doesn't change either. Am I missing something?

Buy a headphone to AUX cable and plug it into the AUX port beside the headphone jack.

Trying to play flash drive in USB port on stereo

Make sure that the music files are indeed mp3 format. An iPod will play several different formats but most av head units only play mp3. A lot of the songs that are downloaded from iTunes are actually mp4

I have a kenwood DNX7360BT audio in my car with a usb port i cant play any thing on that coz it keeps telling me ''reading'' without verifying data on flash drive

Try to touch the disconnect then reconnect. That seems to solve my endless reading problem with iPod for sure. I think I might have had problem with USB as well and resolved the same way.

I have a jvc kd-g720 stereo in my car and when I plug my iPod into the usb port it says "do not disconnect" and even though i have about 2,000 songs on my iPod the stereo will only play the same 49 ones in...

if you are plugging your ipod into the usb port of the kd-g720 it won't play all your songs because this particular radio only plays mp3s through the usb port. ipods play both mp3s and mp4s. so those 49 songs you're hearing are the mp3s on your ipod. in order to play all the songs on your ipod you must buy the cord that plugs in the back of the radio that will connect to your ipod. sorry for the bad news man. i had the same thing happen to me.

How do you hook up the ipod i have it through aux right now is there any other way

That radio has a USB port on the front. If you plug you usb cable for you Ipod into it, you should be able to control the Ipod from the stereo. You should also be able to plug in a flash drive and play music file from it.

IPod connection problem with Ford Focus

I think you have to connect both the line-in to the earphone-connector and the USB to the USB-connector on the iPod.
Don't ask me why, but that seems to work (according to another Dutch forum I haven't tested it yet (don't have a line-in to line-in cable).

Problem with my 8gb ipod nano blk

Could be a problem with the motherboard and the connector interface (where you plug in the USB into the iPod). Do you have access to an ac charger you could try? That would eliminate the USB interface issue and point more to a motherboard issue.

If that does not work, then please consider the FREE Diagnostic Testing that we offer through our website. It will cost you virtually nothing to have us diagnose your issue.
