This model does not support playlists, but in the event they ever do supply an update with that fix (rumor has it they will!) then it will be located under the "Favorites" section in the mp3 player.

You need to make sure the audio card on your computer has been configured correctly for the video recorder module to record audio properly.

Instructions (with text and pictures for XP and Vista) on how to properly set up your audio card are available in the easyRip help module. Just find the icon on the dock that has the '?' icon, when it opens the help file, go to the FAQs section and click on the FAQ titled "How do I configure my audio card for the Audio Recorder and Video Recorder modules"

How do i get a video converter for my RCA M4204

Install the RCA easyRip application which is either on your device or can be downloaded from here:
http://voxrightnow.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2253

Use the Player Loader module to transfer the videos (it automatically does the conversion based on the player that is connected). As long as you can play the videos in Windows Media Player, you should be able to transfer them to your device.

The help file provides further detail on how to use the Player Loader module and can be accessed by clicking on the easyRip Module Dock icon with the '?' symbol on it.

How can I download videos to my player rca-to ma204

You need to use the RCA easyRip software. It has a Player Loader module that automatically does the video conversion so your device can play it. As long as the video can be played in Windows Media Player, the Player Loader module should be able to convert and transfer it and your device should be able to play it.

For additional detail about how to use the Player Loader, run the easyRip software and click on the Help module (the icon with the '?' on it) and find the Player Loader section.

I want to create folders for different types of music. Ho do I do that?

If you want to create folders on your computer to "drop" your types of music into, then you can choose "My Computer", select the disk drive for your mp3 player, then simply right click & select "New", then "Folder", & name it. Then you can drag & drop the music into that folder, which will load it onto your mp3 player as well. BUT, if it does not recognize them as separate lists on the mp3 player itself, then you have to use the EasyRip Module Dock to manage your playlists, where you can move specific songs into a list & save it. OR, if you use Window Media Player, create your playlists there & save them, & typically that will transfer as a playlist for you under the EasyRip Module Dock as well.
Various ways to do the same thing, depending on what you want. Hope this helps!!!

The format seems to be proprietary (at least RCA claims so for best viewing) and is available for free here as their EasyRip Media software...in the downloads section.
You will find full pdf owners manuals there as well.
