I would go to Bostitch.com and type in your model number for a parts explosion. When you get that if you still need help send me a message and I will do what I can. Its not that hard.

I have a Stanley Bostitch N80SB with the sequential trip kit. I have installed a new trigger valve assembly, and the unit now holds air pressure, but the trigger will not activate the plunger. I can...

The safety foot assembly pushes up on inner trigger lever which in turn pushes on the trigger valve. If the trigger valve firing pin is slightly shorter than the old trigger valve, or the inner lever is worn from use, the inner lever will not push the trigger pin all the way in. Examine the trigger and the roll pin that holds the trigger for wear and check that the safety is pushing up on the inner lever. If the trigger is worn replace or repair with metal type epoxy filling in worn spots and use a new roll pin.

How do you change the rubber hand grip on a bostitch n80sb nailer? Do you simply stretch the rubber over the tail piece? Heat??

I haven't had to do this myself, but reference the link below for a guide to both parts and a diagram. This should help. You can also call as I have found them to be quite helpful.

My N80SB framing nailer won't shoot the new nails (non-clipped head). What do I need to do?

For a visual on what type of nail you should use go here:

http://packagingandfastening.com/air_stick_nails_28_degree_framing.htm

You will find a list of differnet nails sold that will work on your gun. Bostitch is about the only nailer that uses a welded wire strip of nails. Good luck

Owner manual

Most all manuals are available at www.bostitch.com, look for support tab, then select service parts and documents. Find your model number in the pull down list and finally select usage manual.pdf, enjoy.

Will bosch nail guns operate with Paslode brand nails?

The F28WW takes 28Deg nails that are collated with wire, so your nails won't work in that gun. The N80SB is also a 28Deg nailer so your 30 Deg nails won't work in that gun either. Sorry about the bad news but it looks like your going to have to spring for new nails

N80sb-1 stanley bostitch framing gun.

Yes your nailer will drive other sizes of nails. For info and parts go to www.bostitch.com and look for the support tab then select service parts. Here you will find parts list and manual. To remove the tva11 trigger valve remove the retainer pin (the pin is 3mm) for the trigger and remove trigger. Next remove roll pin/pins that retain trigger valve. Use heavy glove to catch trigger valve as you apply air pressure to gun. The valve could pop out with great force so try lowering the pressure to gun. Before installing the new valve, check the opening for sharp edges which will cut orings. Good Luck and email if you have more questions.
