Question about Mozilla Firefox

Can't get from the desktop to the internet.

When I click on Mozilla on the desktop, it won't open so I can't get online. I've never received any info on why this is happening. Interestingly, my husband has no problem with his icon. What to do? You'll have my husband email address since I can't get online. Thanks. Keve

    Sorry I lost what I already typed. So I will give you the short answer.

    Start--->>All Programs-->>Mozilla -->>Firefox Click the Firefox icon.

    You will do that every time you want to start Firefox.Hope it helps.

Pop up blocker


Depending on the browser you use, follow the troubleshooting steps listed below:
Internet Explorer:
    1.Click Start, click Run, type inetcpl.cpl, and then click OK to open the Internet Properties dialog box. Alternatively, open Internet Explorer, and then click Internet Options on the Tools menu to open the Internet Properties dialog box.

Internet Explorer :
1. Open Internet explorer > Tools > Internet Option
2. On the General Tab under Browsing History, click on Delete
3. On the pop up windows that opens, make sure all check box are checked that has cookies, temporary files, and etc..., then click on delete
4. Just close and re-open Internet Explorer

Mozilla Firefox
1. Open Mozilla Firefox > Tools > Clear Private data
2. On the pop up windows, make sure all boxes are checked as well and click on delete.
3. Close and reopen Mozilla Firefox.

Google chrome will not start


Try one of the other browsers.

Try downloading Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Google Chrome.Unlike Internet Explorer they install in less than 5 minutes and they arefaster and safer than Internet Explorer.

Go to www.google.com and in the search box type: "Download MozillaFirefox" (without the quotes). Download and Install Mozilla Firefoxfrom Mozilla's website. Do the same thing for Opera and Google Chrome.

Internet explorer not working


Go into the Control Panel and open the Internet Option. Click the Advanced Tab and go down and press Reset Internet Explorer Settings.

See if it works for them now.

If not, try another browser. Internet Explorer is the worst of them all. The others are faster and safer. I have all three on my system and very rarely use Internet Explorer.

MY INTERNET EXPLORER STOPS FREQENTLY


You might have a virus or infection that is causing it.

First open your Internet Options in the Control Panel (it might be under Network) and go to the Advanced tab and hit the Reset button to reset Internet Explorer to the default settings.

Download and install MalwareBytes and run a Quick Scan.

Go to www.google.com and in the search box type: "Download cnet Malwarebytes" (without the quotes). Download and install malwarebytes from the sites download.cnet/malwarebytes. When the site opens up click on the Green Download button on the left. Do not click the Red Download button, that's junk. When it finishes installing the Gui Interface will open up with an offer to Accept a Trial Version or Decline. CLICK DECLINE you want the totally free version. Run a QUICK SCAN. As it scans, if it finds infections the number will be in red. When it finishes scanning, click SHOW RESULTS. A notepad text document will open up showing you the results. You can close the text document and go back to the Gui Interface where you will click REMOVE SELECTED RESULTS. The objects will already be selected for you. When it finishes removing the objects click ok and it will sometimes reboot your machine.

Keep getting connecting tab

Gmail page frozen


If it freezes all the time does other pages freeze? If other pages freeze you have a virus or infection.

I can open my hotmail account but I cant open any e mails or delete any or send any e mails please help it's driving me mad


That is a problem with your browser. If your using Internet Explorer download Mozilla Firefox or Google chrome. I find Google chrome works the best and is very easily adaptable. But if you want safety use Mozilla Firefox.

How do i open a new browser


You can open a new browser window from these locations :

1. Start -> Programs -> Internet Explorer / Mozilla Firefox.

2. Double-Click the "Internet Explorer / Mozilla" shortcut icon in the 'Desktop'.

3. Click on the "Internet Explorer / Mozilla" shortcut icon in the 'Quick Launch' (Left Side of Task Bar).

4. If a browser window is already open, try "Ctrl+N"!

Microsoft internet explorer problem


Solution - I
  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Go to "Tools Option" in "Menu bar".
  3. Go to "Internet Options" in "Tools Option".
  4. When you Choose "Internet Options" an "Internet Properties window" will Popup.
  5. Click on "Advanced Tab".
  6. Under Advanced Tab Look for "Unable third party browser extensions"
  7. Uncheck this Option
  8. Click "Apply"
  9. Click "OK"
  10. Close Internet Explorer.
  11. Restart your Computer
Now you wont face Problems with your Internet Explorer

  1. You Try Using Mozilla Firefox.
  2. It is free you just need to Download it from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/.
  3. Download and save it on Desktop.
  4. Double click on icon and follow the Screen instructions.
  5. Compleate the Installation.
  6. you are Ready to Use.
