Re: phaser 8500 PS

Take a screw and twist it into the ink stick and slid it up until you can remove it. Then use a flashlight to see what the obstruction is.
Most likely a piece of a block broke off and is causing your problem.

What is the error on phaser 8560 09,035.43:30363

At 30,363 pages the cyan ink has a miscount or stuck flag. It can be caused by using other than OEM inks. I would check the ink and make sure it is feeding down properly.

Xerox phaser 8500 error code 09, 038, 46:4597

Ink count sensor flags are stuck after melting 2.5 ink sticks. The following codes are recorded: 9,03x.41, where x= 5 for cyan, 6 for magenta, 7 for yellow, and 8 for black. (Your error indicates black ink loader failure)

Features on the bottom of genuine Xerox ink sticks actuate the Ink Out Sensor located at the forward end of each ink channel of the Ink Loader. The sensor indicates the passage of ink to provide a count of ink consumption.

Damaged or non-genuine ink sticks may not reliably actuate the sensors. This can lead to false Ink Out messages as well as Ink Stick count faults. Using 8400 model ink in a 8500/8550/8560 models will also cause 9,03x.4x ink stick count faults.
Ink Loader will need replaced and then diagnostics entered to run "Clear ISC Fault" test to clear the error.

Hi i have phaser 8560, it gives me a error 09,038,46:62248, plese who can solve me the problem.

Hi there
The onlty thing I can find close to this is.
Acording to the manual its a ink loader error like your loading the wrong type of ink like the puzzles pieces arent matching and hitting the sensor flags right. Yours by the 8 is referring to the black ink. Anyway go to troubleshooting on the control panel. then to service tools. when in service tools press and hold the up arrow while still pressing the up arrow press the down arrow. the display should say hidden menus. go to diagnostic mode press enter go to funtion menu. then go to clear ISC fault and enter. ISC=ink stick count fault. I hope that helps. Just to let you know Ive had nothing but problems with third party ink and once its in the system its hard to get out so I would watch what im doing with my expensive equipment

Xerox Phaser 8500 Error 09,005.40:100473

You don't have to take all the printer apart just the ink loader. Which is held mostly by the side covers. Get a flat head and break down the peaces left over on the cyan ink and flip upside down the ink loader and that should make it work again with no problem.

Error code regarding ink sticks on Phaser 8500

the .46 means the problem is with the black ink stick. What you can try is this. In the bottom of the ink loader, there is a small pressure switch, There is one in each color slot. Take a pencil, use the eraser side to slide all the way to the bottom of where you load the black sticks. Move the earser end around there to see if the that actuator is just stuck. Normally you just have a piece of an ink stick stuck blocking that sensor.
It is possible the ink loader will need to be replaced, but I honestly have never seen one fail.

XEROX 8550 DP ERROR Message 09,035,43; 10192

That is a cyan, ( blue) ink stick fault. What is happening is that the cyan ink sticks are not advancing down the ink loader properly.
Open the area where you load the ink and you probably have a cracked, twisted or otherwise stuck ink stick, the code you are reporting specifically refers to the cyan sticks. If you have to remove them, take a screw, a drywall screw is best, and twist it into the sticks and slide it back and out, then replace them or add new ones. But thats your problem.

Phaser error ERROR CODE: 09,038,46.8515

that is an error with the ink sticks. Most likely one of the sticks is not advancing downward in the machine. Look where the sticks are loaded you will most likely find one not advancing because its twisted , cracked etc. The 46 at the end most likely means its the cyan stick, but check them all for proper movement in the ink loader.
If you have to remove them, take a screw, like a dry wall screw and twist it into the ink block and slide it up and out.
Rarely will the ink loader itself fail. If you have somehow loaded an ink stick from a different phaser model number, they are different shaped and will not actuate the switch at the end of the ink loader.

HELP!!! Phaser 8500 Error 09.035.43:28534

That is a cyan ( blue) ink stick count failure.
Look in your ink loader. First just try opening and closing the lid.
Then look for gaps in the cyan sticks. Most likely one is broken, cracked or otherwise jamed in the slot.
If you have to remove them, take a screw and screw it into the ink stick then slide it up the chute and out, then reload.
Hopefully someone didnt try to add or cut up a stick from a differerent phaser.
Thats your problem. Just a stuck cyan ink stick.

Error: 09,035.43:27650

You have a Cyan ( blue) ink stick stuck or a broken ink stick in the ink loader.
Check the cyan slot carefully, one of the sticks has not moved properly, The machine is not seeing the ink loader moving indicating a stuck cyan stick, Here is the info.

Ink stick count faults (error code 09,03x.4x) are declared when the printer melts 2.5 ink sticks without tripping the color's ink out flag. The ink out flag is used to physically count ink sticks passing thru the ink loader.

Verify that the ink sticks are Xerox 8500/8550 ink sticks. Manually verify that the ink stick are correctly loaded and are able to advance in the ink loader chute. Check for broken ink sticks which can fool the ink out (ink stick counting) sensor.

The ink stick count fault can only be cleared by powering up the printer in internal diagnostics mode. Then scroll and to the Functional menu item Clear ICS Fault.
