Question about Dell Latitude D600 Notebook
If its a windows Vista machine then you need to restore the mahcine to factory settings, if your machine is an HP hold F10 or F11 at startup to enable the factory system recovery console and if the previous owner did nothing to the recovery partition you should be able to restore your computer to full life again with your own user settings, thats if its an HP or COmpaq, other brands use this method a well, however if you do not have this option then your next option would be to aquire a copy of a windows vista disk, Now all you need a windows Vista CD, you do not need a cd key, the reaosn why? Is because there should be a windows key on the bottom of your laptop telling you what windows version came with your machine, simply aquire a cd from a family memeber or friend a white text should come across the screen saying
Press Any Key to boot Form CD... press ne key
setup is now configurating your system...blahdy blah let it run follow the prompts enter your information, when it asks for the cd key have it written down form the bottom of your computer and input it in and let windows reinstakll your fresh version. Also make sure that you have the cd rom drive as your first boot device in your system BIOS,

Try Administrator and no password. if the language of the computer is different than english then Administrator will not work.
if it doesn't open up use a password reset cd or reinstall windows to the computer.
If you can't sign in as administrator or it asks for a password, someone has probably set a password to it.
You could try removing the password with this CD - http://home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd/ You would have to download the cd image from the site and use isoburner to burn it to a Cd-r disc http://www.ntfs.com/iso-burning.htm
after that make sure the computer starts from a cd here's some info on how to work the bios to make the computer start from cd: http://www.whitecanyon.com/how-to-change-boot-order.php
then follow the instructions on the website where you downloaded the program to remove the administrator password.
after doing so you should be able to sign in as Administrator without a password.
