Question about Kenmore 40494 / 40495 / 40499 Electric Single Oven
I own a Kenmore Convection Stove of which I am the original owner, the stove is 6 years old. There are 3 elements in the stove and not a one will work. The convection fan works and I have noticed one interesting thing. Usually when I turn the heating dial to set the desired temperature, there is a 'Click' as the dial passes through the current temperature. This sound is notorously missing.
I am no expert but I think the thermostat is shot! so a few Questions...
1) If my diagnostic correct?
2) The Range is no longer under warrant, anyone know how much to change that type of piece?
Is the control electronic wih a dial or the whole manual if you can answer me with the model number i can look it up there will be a serial plate some where on the front of the oven most of the time you open the bottom drawer mod#is a bunch of numbers like 106.48062890 should be able to help more after that
