Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Do you have your contacts backed up?
Try uninstalling Facebook if that is installed. If this does not fix your problem then try the following.

Settings>Applications>System Applications>Contacts Sync Adapter and press Clear Data, this error usually goes away. If this doesn't work, try clearing the data on Settings>Applications>System Applications>Contacts or Settings>Applications>System Applications>Contacts Storage.

I get a force close message on my phone. what do i do? it says the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. please try again.

This basically means the OS is having severe problems. You need to try a master reset first. If this does not work and there is no software update available from the HTC website you need a replacement handset.

The process android.process.acore has stopped

Hi,

please try to reset its because of the software corruption it usually happens in Htc models...
1.Phone turned off, press and hold the HOME and BACK buttons, and then briefly press the END CALL/POWER button. The reset process will start after a few seconds.
2. Wait for the phone to finish the reset process and then press MENU.

if it does not solve upgrade to latest firmware

Update to latest version

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

I have a problem with my g1 htc phone. when i try to click th phonebook or dial pad i get this message "The process android.process. acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." then force closes,...

That means that there has been an software failure similar to End Program messages that pop up on a windows computer.

You should end as suggested by the mobile OS and continue to operate your device.
