Question about RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8120 Cellular Phone
When you say messages, do you mean your voicemail messages? If it is your voicemail that is getting erased, there are two possible explanations for that; one is that your cellular service may be erasing them by default to make space on their server.
Generally, voicemail messages are not saved for more than 30 days on netrwork servers. Check with your service provider for clariffication on this; second reason may be due to your personal preference settings on your phone. Go into your phone options menu and navigate to message preference settings and you should be able to modify the settings to retain your text and call logs.
Did you buy this phone new or was it previously owned by someone else? If it is a used unit, the settings may have been configured to meet the needs of the previous owner. Hope this helps. Please take the time and post your feedback.
