Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. The issue you are facing occurs due to Power supply board failure. You'll need to check the power supply board for swollen capacitors. Also check that the fans are working and there are no loose connections inside the TV. Also make sure the connector cables to and from the power board are firmly connected.

Please remember that the TV contains very high voltages even when it is in OFF condition. So, please make sure that you don't touch any unknown component/ component connections on the board.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

I think TV has weak electrolytic capacitors in power supply board that need to replaced with same value. Please check swollen top or leaky electrolytic capacitors in power supply board and replace them all but make sure replacement must be same value (that is capacitance in MF and its working volts) and put them with correct polarity pins (capacitor has plus and minus marks on it)
Thanks.

Alright, It is weak or leaky capacitors problem in power supply board and it is not user level repairing.
I could not understand why you rejected my assistance.
    Any way, good luck.

Why does my Phiilps CRT TV that was made in 1986 have a black screen and makes a noise when I had turned on the TV then yesterday it was working fine and now today it is not working anymore then?

I am guessing that the picture tube has gone bad and needs to be replaced then or it could be that the power supply has gone bad or the capacitors have gone bad and need to be replaced. Or it could be the fuses are bad now.Well it is a really old TV there could be a lot of things that could be not working anymore and have stopped working.

Why won't it cut anymore?

Not a lot of information here so I'll take a guess. If the chain isn't turning it can be frozen in the bar. The chain can also be too tight that keeps it from turning or your oiler may be plugged and not working and without lubrication it will slow the chain down.

Everything slowly went wrong

Most likely you have a locked up micro on the main board. You would need to have the main board replaced. If the set is not under warranty your cost to repair would exceed your cost to replace.

PANASONIC CT-36SX12 IT FLASHED ON, TURNED OFF, AND NOW DOESN'T WORK AT ALL

If you're lucky, the main fuse just opened up. It takes a 6.3 Amp slow blow type. Otherwise, it could be a defective voltage regulator and related parts in the power supply I would guess.
