Remove and re-seat your RAM sticks. Try to get to BIOS and load default settings are just a few things to try.

Hp pavilion slimline x3507c pc. when I boot up the monitor remains in standby mode. I have already determined that the problem is in the computer not the monitor. The power supply is good, the fans run,...

very simple bring a new AGP card and plug in it on your pc and plug the monitor pin in new agp now start your computer . monitor will turned on.

if the monitor is not turned on its mean your have problem in your ram or mother board for that pluged out your all rams from your pc and start your computer if cpu ring a beep its mean you have ram problem and the mother board is ok but if you cant hear any beep its mean mother board's problem ram is ok.

Gateway GM5094E amd64 dualcore has NO boot screen ORPOST test beep

A good place to start is to find the reset jumper on the mother board and jumper it. Next you can try disconnecting everything attached to the mother board except the cpu and the heat sink fan. Turn the computer on and you should get a post error beep. If your computer stays running then you will want to attache everything one piece at a time starting with your the keyboard and mouse then the video card so you can see the POST (power on self test) on the screen. Keep adding components until it stops and you have found the problem. If this doesn't solve your problem, you should test your power supply. A bad power supply can and has caused the same problem. If you can't find a detailed test procedure for the PS let me know and I will give you the steps. The cpu power on is dependent upon getting proper voltage from the PS. Good luck.

Does the computer beep when you turn it on? If so, count the beeps and google it. Something like "computer beep 3 times at post" or similar.

If it does not beep, remove all buy one of your memory chips. (mind your static charge, keep in touch with your computer case so you don't fry your mobo or memory) Will the system post with only one chip? If not, try all of your memory chips one at a time. Post now? If so, you can narrow down the issue.

If this doesn't work, remove all of the cards. (video, sound, network, etc) Turn the computer back on. If it still does not beep, it is very likely that the CPU is the culprit, with a slight left field chance of it being the power supply.

CHANGED CPU SPEED ON MOTHER BOARD "FOXCONN 661M08-FX-6LS" AND NOW KEEPS BEEPING. CAN I RESET MOTHER BOARD. THANX

Yes you can reset it, just make sure you unplug the computer before doing it...
Open the left sidepanel and either look for the clear cmos jumper and switch it to the other pin for 10 secs, or you can remove the cmos battery for 10 secs

EMachine T3406 wont boot

is there a post beep when the pc is switched on. check the memory if it is a beep beep beep sound , also disconect the hard drive, dvd drive, floppy, and any usb devices and see if it boots up. if that fails it does seem like the mother board, also check the cpu fan has it stoped. also find out the power switch conector on the mother board, from the base unit switch to the mother board. also chech the power connector from the power supply to the mother board , on newer boards there are two that go to the mother board its self , a big one and a very small one .
