Question about Insignia NS-LTDVD19-09 LCD TV

1 Answer

Comes on for 5 seconds then loses power

When you plug it in the red standby light comes on when you power it up the standby light turns blue and the tv comes on for about 5 seconds after that it goes completely dead with no standby light at all 2 seconds after that the red standby light comes back on..

If I repeat this over and over sometimes I get lucky and the tv will stay on long enough to watch a movie,

I looked every where for help to resolve this issue but with no luck.

Anyone have a service manual or knowledge of this problem?

I turn on my ps3 and there is no menu when it comes on. just a blue screen where the menu should be.

This is because the PS3 software has become corrupted. Follow these steps to fix it but be warned, you will lose your saved data!
1. Turn the PS3 off into standby (Red light on)
2. Press and hold the power button, it will beep as soon as you press it, then again 5 seconds later then once more and turn off. Release the power button when the PS3 turns off.
3. Press and hold the power button again. It will beep as soon as you press it, then again 5 seconds later, then it will beep twice quickly. Let go of the power button when you hear the 2 beeps.
4. The console will now boot into the recovery menu. Do as the screen tells you and connect a controller up via a USB cable and press the PS button.
5. On the next screen choose option 5, "Restore PS3 system". This will then reinstall the PS3 software and cure your problem.

Hope this helps

Red light comes on but the shuts off?

Mine did that and it really pised me of, sony told me to turn the power switch onthe back of the console on, when the stand by light comes on to push and hold the on button for at least 3 seconds until you hear a second set of beeps. This however didn`t work so I sent it back to Sony Australia and got it fixed up no worries.

Try pulling the power adaptor out of the back of the ps2 ,then make sure no dust or debree is in the part that plugs into the ps2 then plug it back in and make sure its attached firmly. The ps2 should turn on now
