The gas heater will not turn off. I have removed the two over temp sensors and they "open" when heated. Any ideas?

disconnect one wire from the gas valve if the flame quits it is a thromostat problem
if not try tapping the gas valve if the flame wont go out then the valve is stuck and must be replaced if the flame goes out after you tap on it the valve still needs to be replaced
