SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: I have a McCulloch Pro Mac 610/650 chain

The clutch face may be worn away
Clutch components are on the "General Assembly" illustration; items 8 through 15 here (610 linked - a 650 is 600046):
http://www.ordertree.com/modelinfo/MCC/11-600041-21-PRO-MAC-610-07%2F90-to-Current-IPL-218689-02/139.11-600041-21-PRO-MAC-610-07%2F90-to-Current-IPL-218689-02.1.59.1.html
It appears to be an internal clutch, if true use this as a guide to remove the clutch drum and access the clutch components:

The C-clips tend to fly when being removed. Please wear eye protection and exercise care.
Use this as a guide to remove any necessary remaining clutch parts:

  1. Check the IPL for your saw to see if any special tools are needed. Poulan (Craftsman, Jonsered, Husky) clutch removal tool part number 530031112 if needed, is under $5 from many sources,
  2. There are metal piston stops available, when square (almost never) with the piston top these work well, if not square they have been known to punch through the piston. I suggest a length of starter cord or nylon rope be used instead of the piston stop (retain 6" ± so you can remove it). Make sure the piston is near the top of the cylinder before feeding the cord or it can fall through the exhaust port and damage the piston as it rises.
  3. Everyone I have ever removed had a left handed thread (tighten it to loosen it).
There may be burrs on the chain drive links (the part that goes in the bar), use a file on the flats to remove any burrs.

The sprocket nose of the bar may be bound up.
I hope you fond this helpful. If I may be of more assistance please post a reply below.

The main reason for a chain to tighten is because it is not getting enough oil to the bar, or too thin an oil is being used, you should see a good spray of oil off the end of the bar when held against a tree stump, if not try adjusting the flow if it has an adjuster.

Manual for McCulloch Pro Mac 510

There is no service manual for this chain saw. Since chain saws are such dangerous tools, manufacturers do not want the end usere to attempt any service or repairs beyond what is in the owners manual. If you are in fact looking for an owners manual you can contact southern supply company at 205-833-2525 or email them at southern.supply@mindspring.com and I feel sure Jason or someone there can help you.

McCulloch Pro Mac 610 replacement chain

The McCulloch ProMac 600 series (610/650) doesn't recommend a saw chain replacement part because you can get differently-sized bars for it. This one came with a 20" bar.
According to an Amazon.com search tonight, the Oregon company makes a replacement part stock number D70. I have got an Oregon H78 replacement chain at my hardware store and it's a hair too small. Not all 20" saw chains are created equal!!
