Dear sir,
I am Sajal Kaity. I have a N95 Mobile of Nokia.The Problem is, I have installed a .sis file named SmartMovie from my Computer to my N95 Mobile.But when I try to open the SmartMovie, An error generate like "does not support this format". And any .sis file is not being supported by this N95.

I have the same problem of installing any "sis" file on my nokia N95 phone.It will always give me a message of file format not supported. I will be greatfull if you can help me out.

Hi, Sanjay Kaity,

This is Sushil Sharma from India.
I have the solution for your problem.
The Solution is :

Nokia N95 does not supports any .sis file.
B'cose N95 supports .sisx file.
So try to install .sisx file
If u want to install SmartMovies.
Then try to install Smart Movies 3.41
It fully supports your N95.

Hi,

Depending on when the file was made, you may need to change the date back 1, 2, 3 years, if you go back to far it will tell you its not yet valid so just move the date forward a couple of months at a time.

.sis files are S60 V2 symbian files and the N95 supports S60 V3 so use .sisx

you need ti sign your file first before you install it, and also make sure your downloading correct version, think its os9 v3

Get a certificate for your IMEI from https://www.symbiansigned.com and sign your own file.

You may like to google for signsis tool also.
