Question about HP Officejet 5610 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Have HP 5610 All-in-one. Out of warranty. Wouldn't print for me. For some reason, queu (?)showed 9 jobs in line with 1st paused. Removed pause; but still wouldn't print. Tried disconnecting power; still wouldn't print. Then decided to just cancel all; last 8 disappeared; but 1st now says "Deleting - Printing". Still can't print or get rid of. Throughout, screen on printer shows date and time and "copy" button is lit. How do I get out of this hangup.

Press on the Delete all jobs again, also try right clicking on the printer in the printers and faxes and select run as administrator - this one is only for vista and try deleting them again.

disconnect the printer aswell.

if they still remain, press and hold the windows button and press R type services.msc and press OK

In the services list find print spooler, right click and stop it, then go to printers and faxes, press F5, the printers will disapear, go back to services and right click on the printer spooler again and click start, now go back to the pritners and faxes again.

Press F5, try deleteing the jobs one at a time and see if they get removed.

If they get removed, plug in the printer and try printing, if the problem remains, delete the printer from the printers and faxes, unplug it from the computer.

Then plug it to another usb port and it should install itself again.

Now try printing again.

If the problem remains, delete the printer and restart the machine.

If the problem remains delete it, unplug it, go to start -> control panel -> add or remove programs or programs and features, uninstall all hp related software.

When you have removed the hp from your compluter fully, software and usb cable, and printer deleted from priners and faxes, restart the computer.

now use the cd or download the full feature software for it from -

install it and plug it in when asked, the printer should work fine now.

this is definitely a software problem on the computer so I don't think that theres anything wrong with your printer in the hardware side, you could try it on another computer to confirm that its working.

All connections work and icon shows that print is ready but no print

Under your printers and faxes. make sure that the print jobs arent paused. If there is print jobs waiting, try to unpause them if paused. Otherwise remove all the pending print jobs, restart your PC and make sure all the print jobs are cleared. Then give it another go.

After pausing a printing job, my printer has gone offline

Go to Printers & Faxes, open your printer (the window where you see the documents being printed), and from the upper menu leftmost item (Printer) uncheck the option "Work offline" or similar. Then try resuming or restarting print.

Trying to print, but Status Paused is showing


Thanks for using FIxYa. Please turn the printer off and then cancel all the print queues pending in the bottom toolbar by double clicking on the printer logo if you want to delete all the pending printing files. Now turn the printer on. If you do not want to cancel all the printing jobs then you can double click on the printer logo showing in the right side of the bottom tool bar and then right click on the printing jobs pending for printings then click on restart printing. Issue will be resolved and it will not show ‘paused status’.

Need to clear all printing jobs from the printer 4250 HP

It's probably queued up on the computer you're using. If this is Windows or Mac, look for a printer icon toward the bottom-right corner of your screen.

If you don't have it and you're on Windows, click Start: Control Panels: Printers. Find your printer.

Inside the new screen, you should be able to first pause the printer, then cancel all the jobs. You may have to highlight all of them, then right-click to get cancel.

When they're all cleared out, go back to where you paused the printer, then hit Resume printing.

Printer keeps pausing itself!!

By UI do you mean RUI (Remote User Interface)? Have you installed a network kit? If so did you upgrade firmware using SST? If not, you need to do this or printing won't work.

In service mode. Copier > Display > Version > PS/PCL there needs to be a number e.g. 30.06. If there is no number the copier does not have any print drivers on it and won't be able to print. You also need to have a N BOOT-ROM (included in network kit). There Should be a N next to the number for BOOT-ROM under Copier > Display > Version if a N BOOT-ROM is installed.

How do i clear documents waiting on my stylus sx 100 printer

Hi joe,

When you bring up the queued print jobs right click on any document and you should be given the option to stop, pause cancel or clear one or clear all print jobs.
