I have never messed with one of these with 2 front panels but it looks to me like you remove the 2 screws at bottom like the old series and get the toe kick off first. Then remove or back off some screws at the base of the front panel and then compress the top springs to release the panel. Here are some old school pix

Water not draining from machine

You either have a clogged or jammed up drain pump or a failed drain pump. p/n WH23X10030

IF the machine is full of water, drain the washer, remove power, remove the front cover of the washer by using a putty knife and pushing in between the top and front at the front corners about 3 inches in on both sides. The pump is on the lower right side. remove the pump from the washer, remove the 3 screws holding the pump motor to the body and remove anything that may be jammed in it. IF there is nothing in it, replace the pump assembly.

Tip

Washing machine won't drain, pump stuck

If your washing machine won't drain and, the pump appears to be stuck:
Go to an autoparts store and, buy a radiator locking hose pinch off plier. Then: unplug the washer (remove all power) bail out all the water with a cup or, bowl; remove the washer cabinet or, tilt back the washer against a wall so that you can access the pump from underneath the front; pinch off the tub to pump hose; lock the plier, place a towel under the pump; remove all screws on the pump cover; remove the blockage from the pump and, reattach the pump cover. remove the pliers and, test the washer. (if you can acces the pump from the front (like a front load washer) you do not need to bail out the water as, the pliers will hold the water in the tub, so that only a small amount of water will come out when you open the pump.)

Maytag washer sav205daww leaking water from bottom of washer when runinning

It is so common that the drain leaks in many ways and is the most problematic fault in a washing machine. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that water has leaked then as the drain hose pump/valve and fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for possible leaks here. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged or the drain hose clamps can be loose on the grip which can all cause the leak to occur. Removing and cleaning the drain pump/valve, tightening of the hose is also very important. Also water can leak if there are gaps on the front door gaskets and must be checked but this will happen only during the cycle and not on the drain cycle end. Also check on this link : http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/washing-machines/a/7/1461/do-you-have-a-leaky-washing-machine.html

Washer leaking from undeneth

Most likely a leaking water pump. Remove the top lid from the washer. Then remove the front panel to access the water pump. The pump is attached to the front of the motor. Remove the pump support clips then remove the pump from the motor. If in question, set the machine to fill with water and look for a water leak at the pump. You can also inspect all other hoses and water connections with the panel removed.

GE WJSR2050T2WW Washer fills up,Spins but won't drain out?

The most common reason for no pump out is a blockage in the pump. Best to drain as much water as possible. (even laying the drain hose down to allow as much of the water to drain out as possible) Un-plug washer. Next, open the front of the washer by using a putty knife to push in and release the clips about two inches in from each side at the seam where the front panel meets the washer top. Pull the front panel forward and lift it off the bottom pegs. Remove spring clamps from inlet and outlet of pump with a plier. Remove two pump mounting screws to allow pump removal after unplugging electrical leads. Remove obstruction from pump. Most pump bodies can be separated if necessary. Reassemble, plug back in and test.
