You need to find the master link, remove the retaining clip, and drive out the pin. Master link will look different from the others, but that's about all the advice I can give you to find it. It will have a clip that holds the pin associated with that link inside the link. Once you pull the clip the pin can come out and the chain will be open. Be careful not to lose the roller/bushing inside, but it normally will stay unless you try to take it apart.

How do I tighten the chain on my son's 24 Next PX 4.0 Boys' Mountain Bike? It seems very loose

Hi Mitchell:
I looked at some pix of this bike and they showed a shifter. As long as the springs on the shifter mechanism are moving it as intended, the chain tension should be fine.
It's a good idea to occasionally clean the gear change assemble with a spray solvent, wipe it down, and then lightly oil it.

I have an Iron Horse 2.4 mountain bike and need a chain diagram . My chain broke and I lost the manual. Thank you, Mike

Chain installation like almost anything else on that bike is a generic procedure. Google for videos or look at this site for many procedures.

Chain Broke on a Huffy Tundra 18 speed 26" bike. I need to know the size chain to replace or the master link/chain connector to fix the chain.

if the bike has gears it does not have a master link, that is for single speed bikes only.

You will need an 8spd chain for your bike (1/2" x 3/32), these will fit any 6,7 or 8 spd bike. This requires a special tool to install ($8-$25), I would recommend taking into a bike shop and have them do it if you have no experience with this type of chain.

Side note: if you do own the tool, you can repair a broken chain for a temporary fix in the future, so may be worth buying. Check around, many bike shops offer basic repair classes and cover this.

I have a pacific usa mountain bike and the chain broke an i bought a chain and I cant figer out how to put it back together

well usually all chains have a link that comes off. if you get that to come apart, then you put the chain on the teeth were the teeth come through between the links. then you link back together the two chain links. it might be a little hard though
