The Computer won't get to the Desktop Screen. It stops the process of logging in at a screen that shows a loading bar that keeps repeating.


You will need to either, re install the operating system or do a system restore. The latter is available on the F8 screen (press at computer start.)

Brother mfc 257 won't print blue


Printhead is bad and needs replaced. Brother gives a 1 year warranty and may replace the printhead for free even after the warranty has expired.

I have a Lexmark S504 wireless multifunction printer. I can print a test page but a can't print anything from any application. The Windows print page window comes up and if you click OK it appears to...


It could be a printer driver issue. Please follow the steps below to fix the problem.
First, clear the print queue from any stuck print jobs. You can do the steps mention - going to Services and stop the print spooler, delete the files in the spooler folder and then restart the service.
Second, delete the existing Lexmark Interpret S405 printer driver. On your computer, go to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark > Uninstall. After the uninstall process, reboot your pc when prompted.
Third, visit the Lexmark website to download and reinstall the Lexmark Interpret S405 printer driver. Select the version of your Windows operating system. Download and execute the file. Follow the instructions on your computer screen.
After the reinstall process is successful, try to print again to verify that the problem is fixed.

My HP deskjet 2050 all-in-one printer only shoots out blank paper and won't print. It used to say there was no paper in it, which there was. It scans & prints just fine - just won't print...


Any error messages on the printer digital screen or the desktop? I take it the "The ink is fine" means that there is ink in the cartridges!

Try a test print via the Control Panel> Printers and Faxes> properties > Print test page.

Hi, Its a common error which comes for many individuals and we can rectify by ourselves.
Please perform the following steps. 1]Press and hold the "*" key. 2]Press the "#" key and release both keys. Display should say "Enter Special Key Combo" 3]Press and release in sequence the "1", "2" and "3" buttons.screen will say "support" R0631M 4]Press and release the right arrow button until the display says "System Configuration Menu". 5]Press and release the "OK" button. Display should say "Hardware failure status". If not there already, Arrow Key over to "Hardware failure status", 6]Press and release the "OK" button.Display should say "Hardware failure status: Clear. Press OK to clear". 7]Press and release the "OK" Button. Message changes to "Hardware failure status Cleared. The print screen process will not work with my keyboard. Neither will the Alt + prtscrn. I do not get anything when I try to paste.


Press PRINT SCREEN.
Click Start
Click All Programs
Click Accessories
Click Paint

When Paint opens, click 'Edit' and 'Paste'.
You should now see the captured image of the screen.

Note that ALT-PRINT-SCREEN captures _only_ the current window;
PRINT-SCREEN captures the _entire_ screen.

XP SP3 sends docs to print que but nothing prints


Open up your print queue. Cancel All jobs.

Go to the start menu and either click on, or search for cmd. This will open the command window. You also need to open your task manager.

In the task manager, search for a process called spoolsv.exe, or if that doesn't exist, find a process with "spool" in the name. This is your print spooling process. Right click the process, and end it. You can close the task manager now.

Next, go to the command prompt. Type "net start spooler" without the quotes, and hit enter. This should restart your spooling process. Close the command window, and try to print.

If this doesn't work, you should check to make sure you're printing to the correct printer. If it doesnt solve the problem, uninstall your current printer (you may have to end the spoolsv.exe process again), and reinstall the drivers for your particular model, which you can find at the manufacturers website.
