It would seem that your hard disk is about to die.if you have data you want to retrive you can place it in a double ziplock bah place it in the freezer for a couple of hours this will give you some time copy what you may need until it stop working.if not you can try a data recovery company.

Pink and Green Horizontal lines across screen

Normally, horizontal lines on an LCD or LED monitor indicate a bad control board inside the monitor. However, occasionally the problem can be caused by loose or bad cable connections. The only things that you can really do is to disconnect both ends of the monitor cable and reconnect them firmly. Also, you can disconnect the monitor cable completely and just leave the power cable. With only the power cable attached, you can turn the monitor on and off. The monitor should have a "startup screen" or display a message that says something like "Video Cable Disconnected". If the green and pink lines are still present without your computer connected, then the monitor has gone bad. The good news is that Samsung SyncMaster monitors usually carry a 3 year warranty, whereas most monitors only have a 1 year warranty. You may be able to have the monitor replaced at no cost to you if it's less than 3 years old.

be sure power is supplied to the HDD, if and inter HDD change the cables, if is external check the USB cable and see if you need a complementary power brick or a second USB to power it.

The monitor will display fpr 4 to 5 seconds and turn black! bought a new cable and still does the same thing. Bought monitor in may of 2009. should last longer then 1 1/5 years!!!!

There two boards that give trouble, the power supply board, and the inverter board that energizes the back lights behind the screen, failures are usually caused by bad capacitors and in some cases bulge at the top. To repair will need a service center and I recommend an estimate.

I have Seagate HD 500GB (Internal) and my PC configuration is Intel i3 Processor with 2GB RAM, 1GB Nvidia Graphic Card and 250GB HD(Internal) in which OS is loaded. I'm facing a problems as...

Your problem is very clear... The HDD has got bad sectors in it and that is the cause for the Sneak sneak sound...
This causes your HDD to not get detected under bios in most of the situation and this is the root cause for all the problems stated above...

Here is the solution:
==============

It is not possible to do any kind of service from your end...
It has to be sent to a seagate service center to get serviced...
Mostly they will never service the HDD, they will replace it with a new one...
All the seagate HDD comes with 5 years warranty...
you can opt for replacement...

search in google for an authorised service center located in your locality...

Hdd power problem

Hi!

Check your HDD with HDD monitor utility to see if it's ok. You can try this one:
http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-disk-health-monitoring-utility.htm
If your HDD has bad SMART or power controller or smth like that - then you definitely need to replace HDD.
Also issue may be caused by your PC power supply or motherboard power controller. If HDD monitor shows that your hard drive is "alive", then try to "hang" your HDD to another power cord from your PC power supply and try to connect to other IDE/SATA port on your motherboard.

Also I'd suggest you to try your HDD on any other PC.

Computer powers on and runs but it will not post hhd in BIOS. any help?

Shut down you're system. Open you're case and double check the power cable and data cable from hdd to motherboard. (Disconnect both cables and re-connect both). Make sure the cables are fully inserted. Power up the system and enter the bios. The hdd drive should be listed. If not replace the data cable with a new one and check the bios again.
If you have two hdd, ATA IDE drives connected, make sure that each hdd is jumpered correctly. One set to Master with a slave.
The second drive should be jumpered as a slave.
If you're running 1 hdd make sure the hdd is jumper as a Master without a slave. There is a sticker on the hdd to help you set the jumper correctly.
If the bios still does not see you're hdd than either the hdd is bad or the motherboard controller is bad.
To check if the hdd is faulty, check the sticker on the drive. Find the manufacture's name and model. Google the manufacture's name. Every manufacture provides free software that will test and repair the drive by allowing you to create either a bootable floppy disk or bootable CD disk that runs in a DOS like window. Example: For a Seagate drive you would download SeaTools for DOS. Instructions are listed on the site; http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/support/downloads/seatools
Seagate also supports Maxtor drives using the same software.

Good luck!
Cheers'
Mike

Monitor Problems

Borrow a DVI cable from some friend and test it, just in case.

If you want to use multiple monitors, ensure you are using the right settings. Go to control panel>> Display,
open the Display properties box, click the last tab at the top right hand corner, and chose advanced see here for XP, Vista is similar:
