Why is my deep fryer not getting hot both the power light and the heating lights are on

Sounds like your heating coils are burnt out. It will cost more to repair than to replace with a new one.

Outdoor heatpump unit,twx736a100a2, coils freeze over solid, replaced outdoor thermastat, checked freon and replaced a relay switch at a cost of $500/for 2 service call-outs.It worked fine whole month of a...

Coils freezing due to dust blocked coils and or air filter or short of gas. Service your unit completely. Please do not change any spare/s without knowing exact problem. Please follow the steps given below.

Toget proper heat, keep your temp setting at 30+ degree and also mode in "heat"position. If still no heat, check your heating sensor for closed circuit by anOHMs metre. It it's with RV, check power to RV.If it's with heatingelement check power to element. If power is there but still no heat meanselement defective. Replace new heating element. Thanks. To get proper cool, keep the tips as follows:
1. Check air filter is cleaned. 2. Check indoor coil is cleaned. 3. Checkindoor blower motor is working. 4. Keep in cool mode. 5. Set temp minimum 3degrees less than room temp.6.Check compressor is working with correctpressure.
Thanks. Helpful?

The drum goes round but there's no heat.

there is a heating element on the back wall and it looks like a spring closer on a screen door it is kinda flimsy and bends and warps as it cools and heats and sometimes it will rub on the drum or the back wall it shorts out and breaks a new coil costs around 80 $ takes a while to string through the ceramic holders you get some replacement holders to replace cracked or damaged ones with new coil. you can buy one pre strung it will cost allot more not an easy task for a first timer.

Power Light goes on but iron will not heat

If it is more than 3 years old (no warranty) then you can get it repaired or replaced. The heating coil is broken. The heating coil in the iron cannot be fixed, but must be replaced.

If the iron is less than 3 years old, you can get it repaired under warranty; however, shipping and other costs may not be worth having it repaired. (More than $30).
If you can get an estimate, you might want to have it repaired.

My recommendation? Replace it.

Dryer works but it is not heating up

If it is a gas dryer, theres a igniter in it that needs replacing
If it is a electric dryer, it commonly is the coil that is burned out

Cost Gas igniter approx $40.00
Coil $40-60.00

I hope this helps

Mobile home coleman - evcon furnace model EB23B vandalized. I think what is called the Evaporator coil?? (Copper A shape) was taken from the home. All that remains is the blower. Now...was the copper coil...

What a shame! An a coil runs about $500-$600 and an elec. heater kit about $100 plus labor and if the coils are missing then you Will have to replace refrigerant at $20 per lb.. I would replace the unit for about $1000 and then you'll have warranties on it. Sorry for your misfortune.
