Question about Sharp Microwave Ovens
Thanks for using FixYa. This is a common issue with the sharp microwave ovens, it occurs due to problem in one of the damper-related components. Either the switch or motor or the damper door may be binding.
The damper is a door inside the oven which opens or closes depending on cooking mode selected. If the controller senses that the door is not in the right position, it will shut down the cook cycle. It can also be due to a bad lower door interlock switch.
Please check Parts #1-22 (Damper Motor ), #4-1( Damper), #4-27( Damper c) in this diagram--
