Problem for HP Photosmart 4180 All-in-One Printer

When i align the cartridges in my hp c4580

when i align the cartridges in my hp c4580 photosmart all in one, it say its aligned, then it wont let me exit out of the menu because it says its failed and just keeps on making me print and scan alignment pages!! what do i do?

Have tried to reboot your computer and power off the printer and let it cycle back up? IF thes have not worked then it may be time to take it to a repair place and let them have alook at it Typically the life of a printer is only 3 years. If yours is older than that it's time to buy a new one.
