Aftermarket alarms have to be configured to bypass the factory alarm system when using it.

You still need to hook up the ignition wire. It is this wire that allows the Autopage to KNOW the ignition is turned on. Even though you are not using the remote starter, it is a mandatory wire to connect. The wire is the THICK YELLOW wire in the 6 pin connector on the side of the main module.

If this is the vehicle's factory alarm that is being triggered then your factory alarm must be disarmed prior to the remote starter sequence. The Autopage unit has a factory disarm wire available for this purpose. When the alarm triggers again try turning the key in the driver's door to see if there is a factory disarm wire available in the vehicle or if the factory alarm is RF disarm only.
