Question about Amana Kitchen Ranges
If the electronic control is still being powered at the time the display fails, I would say the problem is likely in the control itself.
If the power to the control stops at time of failure, the circuit to the control would have to be traced to see where the stoppage is. There may be some kind of thermal protector in the range that is opening up or there might just be a loose connection in the circuit
Since a f2 error appears your temperature sensor is also faulty
