Question about Cameras

1 Answer

I have a Fuji Finepix F45 camera. After taking a photo the screen shows a badly blurred image. Same applies if I load the memory card into my PC. The image has wavy lines. I have tried recharging the l-ion battery. replacing the battery with a new charged battery, & replacing the XD card to no avail. I suspect that the charger may be defective. However the camera does show the battery as being fully charged. After spending £25 on a new battery I am reluctant to spend £30 on a new charger when the fault may be with the camera or it's settings. Please advise.

Hi

It doesn't sound likely to be related to battery or memory card at all, its most likely the image sensor of the camera, or the lens is dirty.

Fuji finepix a 345 is not showing dsc photo folder when connected to pc. PC can't read file header. Memory card shows full (less 8 mb). cannot access photos. Kindly guide what is to be done. Thx.

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Fuji finepix communication error mac

hey Sharon the only way i would imaging to bypass that problem is by getting yourself a multi memory card reader where you take out the memory card and insert it into the card reader and copy all your photos to the PC and then inserting it back into the camera. According some people its not good to use your camera as a card reader. Although it has that function.Hope this helps.

Photos wont load onto pc....neva had a problem before.have un installed and re installed but still wont work camera also showing little yellow icon on screen of wat looks like a camera and an exclaimation...

Take out the memory card from the camera and insert it into the small slot in your computer, then go to "my computer" and it should show up just like a hard drive would. Then just drag and drop the photos.
Hope it works for you.

Fuji Finepix F30 Suddenly takes only all pink screens (no image)

This sounds like one of two problems -
Either an LCD screen problem or a bad CCD sensor.
A LCD screen problem would indicate one of two of the following - it was cracked, or the cable inside is either damaged or moved out of the plug and need to be reseated.

A bad CCD sensor would show a pink screen on cameras, but would also show menus on the screen as well, do you see those? The CCD basically captures the image the lens is seeing and translates it to an image the camera can save. Generally the CCD can not be replaced separately from the lens and will require an entire lens assembly for repair.

Memory Full

If you don't have a memory card; transfer the images to your PC and delete the images in the camera.
If you have a memory card, the same does apply.
If you do not have a memory card, buy one.
If you do have a users manual, try to read it..................

Blurred subjects

Fuji uses a 16MB xD card with the camera, which won't hold too many 4 Megapixel photos at the highest quality setting. So you should plan on buying a larger card right away. xD cards are currently available as large as 1GB, and I think 128MB is a good starter size for most people. Be warned that xD cards tend to be more expensive than CompactFlash and SD cards.
