Question about Optoma RD65 65" Rear Projection HDTV
I replaced the lamp in tv it restarted fine picture is great. NOW when I turn off the tv it begins to start up but shuts off and the two red lights indicating lamp failure are on. If I slid out the lamp and then push it back in the tv starts up fine. I have to do this everytime I shut it off. Is there a reset? or what can I do?
Optoma RD50/RD65 uses E23 5Kv precharge lamp. E23h lamps from ebay are 15Kv precharge. The letter h from E23h indicates High precharge voltage, 15Kv. Check out my other post here:
Insist on E23 with 5Kv precharge or it's not going to work on Optoma RD50/RD65. I ought to know, I bought 2 lamps E23h on ebay to find out the truth.

I just replaced my lamp. TV seems to be working fine, but I kept on getting the message saying time to change lamp. I went to the service menu using Menu 6-1-9 Menu, and try to reset the lamp life, but it's not letting me do anything so every time i turn on my TV, I am getting that error message.
