Vacuum not picking up dirt

My vacuum works fine when the hard floor attachment in on. Suction is fine. I put in a new bag. When I use the carpet attachment, it picks up the dirt but spits it back out.

The neck in your power head is likely clogged. Disconnect from the wand and look inside. Also check the wand.Since you have suction on the bare floor the hose is likely not blocked.
