Yes you are correct something is plugged. Pretty common problem. Now we are going to need to locate just were the blockage is located. Your evaporator coils frost up in normal use and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan. Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slowly because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top use a wet and dry vacuum cleaner. Flushing it out with hot water and Clorox may help cut the slime in the line.
Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer. Below is some links I would like you to go to and read of and chose the part that most relates to refrigerators problem
If you have more questions or need help feel free to let me know, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Find where the supply air is coming into the fridge part. It comes from the freezer and could easily be supplying -18 air direct to the door. This would give you a 2 in the fridge but anything in the direct air path could freeze.

Sorry to hear about your problem.

Sounds like you have a defrost issue. Hence your unit is not defrosting. All of this apply's if your freezer side has ice . If not. you have other issues, this does sound funny, but this is why your refrigerator side is warm, or not cooling.

Here is a list of some things that can go wrong.
1. Defective heat coil
2. Defective defrost timer
3. Defective defrost sensor
4. Defective Fan
5. Defective compartment inlet damper (on some models)

You should call a service company to resolve your issue.

Excess water inside fridge

Take a pipe cleaner and run it down the little hole. That is a drain hole and it has something clogging it, not allowing the frig condensation to drain.

Water Leaking all over from Whirlpool Gold Refrigerator

I think that the seals are ruined when the seals are ruined the water will leak outside and inside beacause all of the heat from outside will gather together and will melt the ice and will make the moisture act up and boost the process of it turning to gas matter into liquid matter.
