Replace the motherboard (part # WR55X10942) but be careful to check that the evaporator fan (inside the freezer) turns on when you power up the refrig again. A bad evaporator fan motor can take out the motherboard. If compressor starts with new board but not evap fan, unplug immeadiatelly and replace the evap fan motor to save new board.

No sound and no picture

Could have a bad flyback transformer--this is a common problem in these sets. Also there is a capacitor in the flyback ckt. that often gets bad connections and causes a blown H-output and sometimes runs the HV away--killling one or more tubes.

Appliance Repair Boise - GE refrigerator making clcking noise

When you hear your GE Profile refrigerator making a clicking noise, coming from the back/rear of refrigerator, your refrigerator control board is bad. If your refrigerator and freezer are still cooling then you are lucky and you might have a few days to get that control board replaced. The clicking sound you're hearing most of the time, comes from a small panel located on the rear of refrigerator. Remove 3 screws and replace.

I have sony lcd hd ready 50inch rear projector tv model number KDF-E50A12U tv comes on after couple minuets tv clicks off to stand by then red light in stand by flashs 3 times gos back to green repets

Three blinks of standby light to Sony TVs indicates that the regulated voltage output from power regulator board is above thatn normal. The problem is with its power supply regulator board. Replace all the electrolytic cpacitors on that board with new ones. Replace all of them including small and large ones, at one time. OK.

When tuned on the lamplight located on the on/off switch flickers and then the standby light comes with no picture. when unplugged overnight, it comes on for 5-10 minutes and the picture scrambles

Sounds like the Digital bd is bad. Check to see if you can see any bright light coming from the rear of the set through the vent slats when you first turn on the set. If you can the the Digital bd is the problem.

Will not come on

what are the exact symptoms when you turn it on? don't leave anything out. does it make any specific noise that you recall? does it seem to cycle on and off without fully coming on while making a squealing noise from the back of the set only stopping when the set is unplugged? has any service at all been performed to this set prior to this problem?
