Uninstall and reinstall bluetooth driver first by going to support.dell.com. click drivers an select your product or type your service tag then under bluetooth select which one is installed on your computer. to uninstall, go to device manager, right click on the bluetooth device listed under network adapter and choose uninstall. restart that computer and when it turns back on, install the bluetooth driver from the support.dell.com page.

Bluetooth is a optional feature, your laptop may not have the hardware - the bluetooth device installed inside even if it has the button.
If your bluetooth has worked before, with a phone or a wireless headset or similiar let me know and we can look into it more.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: i want to reboot my
Reboot? You mean restart? Click Start, click the arrow beside the Lock button and choose Restart. It's the same.
If you mean System Recovery (wiping out everything but the OS and making the PC new), then there must be a software like Recovery Manager. Search Start Menu.
As it is a Dell, you must have a recovery partition on the drive. It will be just as new.
Or use the set of CDs that you created when it was new, or one which you got with the PC. If you didn't get and you didn't even make it, ask Dell to send a set for your model.
If nothing works, then use a Vista installation disk that you can buy in a retail store. Note that you won't get the pre-installed software that you got from Dell when you removed the PC from the box.

Unless you can get hold of a Linux password recovery program to reset or remove the password from the Windows Administrator's login, you will need to reinstall Windows again, the device drivers and your programs.
In this process you will lose all your data that is stored on your hard drive.
If you want to save your data before you install Windows, remove the hard drive, connect it to an USB hard drive adapter (most likely you will need power to the hard drive) and plug it into the USB port of a working computer. This computer will see it as an external hard drive, copy your data you require so you can load it back onto your computer after you installed Windows.
You can connect your hard drive into a working computer on the 2nd IDE controller, then you can see this drive and copy your data files.

This model laptop uses a CCFL lamp for the backlight, it does not use LEDs for backlighting.
The CCFL lamp is attached to an inverter which supplies high voltage to this lamp.
For details on how to install and or replace CCFL lamps go to
www.lcdparts.net for information and parts.
I assume you are not replacing the whole LCD screen.
