We have a Samsung CLP-600N and have had many different issues with it. Today it will not power up. We've checked that plug to machine and outlet are secure and power switch is on. Any thoughts as to what else it could be?

it sounds like a faulty power supply, when you apply power it charges the capacitors in the psu but as it is faulty is unstable hence the clicking, it continues as the capacitor discharge until all power drains
This error can arise when the door on the right-hand side of the printer, the part you open in order to replace the toner cartridges, is not correctly closed. Close the top right-hand section first and then close the door on the right-hand side firmly (slamming it if necessary) and then check that all edges look correctly aligned. That should solve the problem. Incorrect shutting of these parts has always been the cause of this error on our Samsung CLP-600N laser printers and we have several of them.
The SMPS Fan Error is caused by slow or no rotation of the SMPS Fan.
The firmware solution from Samsung disables monitoring so if the fan
stops the printer will keep working. Thankfully, it's not physically
hard to fix this issue though and can be done by removing 9 screws and
using a little oil.
