Question about Dell OptiPlex GX280 PC Desktop
I have a DELL GV280 SFF running Windows 7 and just brought a ATI Radeon 4350 to replace the onboard INTEL graphic chipset. The problem is that the powersupply can't supply enough watts to run anyting beyond the windows inviroment (at least I have AERO now). I there a replacement powersupply available that will get me 300 - 350 Watts?
This model uses a custom dell power supply, and is made to be low cost. So the simple answer is no. You can use a different, higher watt power supply but it wouldn't fit in the proprietary dell case, you would have to run it outside the case or some other custom way of mounting it as dell doesnt use standard parts in this machine.

Your best bet is to take the power supply out and take it to a good electronics store that has decent computer hardware. That way, you can compare the connections available and also its mounting style to make sure it will work.
