My Lexmark printer 2600 series won't print. It pulls the paper towards the right but won't feed it. How can I fix this?

Leading cause of paper jams is debris/foreign objects that accidentally fell into the paper feed area. Please follow steps below to fix the problem:

1. Remove the sheets of paper from the feeder.

2. Grab a flashlight and look inside the feeder for any debris or foreign objects.

3. If you're willing and physically able, you may also turn the printer over. Any debris should just freely roll out from the feeder.

4. If feeder is clear, place the printer back on the table, open the printer cover and remove the cartridges.

5. Check the cartridge area for any obstructions/debris in the cartridge carrier's path or the paper path.

6. If cartridge area is clear, close the cover.

7. Re-brick your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.

8. When the printer turns on, reinsert the cartridges and load some paper. Try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.

If problem continues, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.

Lexmark 5495. No paper jam. Gears just spin. Won't grab paper. Paper properly in loading position.

Here are some tips on how to use the feeder: - Use paper that is in good condition. - Fan the paper before loading into the feeder to avoid sticking together. - Make sure the paper don't buckle when loading into the feeder. - Avoid overloading.

When trying to print the paper won't feed through. It will on the left side (looking at the front of the printer) but won't on the right preventing it to print. I just bought and replaced both...

Feeder is no longer feeding. What should be

Well I don't think you are going to be able to find replacement parts for it. But what you can do is try the following. Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, remove any paper that you may have in the feeder now pick up the printer and flip it upside down. Be careful with the scanner lid but sometimes what happens is that things will get inside the printer blocking the paper path. That will cause the printer not to pick up the paper most of the time.

IBM 1422 not feeding 8 1/2 x 11 paper through multipurpose feeder

Go into the paper menu and set the multipurpose feeder paper size to letter. It will work if the paper size is set correctly for the MPF.

This is what worked (so far) with my Dell1.gif AIO A940 printer1.gif that wouldn't print black ink.

It worked for awhile when I chose photo/glossy paper, but then it quit printing again (see below).

PRINT, PROPERTIES, PAPER SETUP, SPECIALTY PAPER, PHOTO/GLOSSY

I got it to print, again, by putting SEVERAL papers in the feeder (instead of just 1) - there is a sensor that is supposed to automatically detect paper type, and it might not be working right, especially with one or only a couple of sheets.
