Evert time i plug in the USB cable a wizard pops up to install the program,nothing happens after i push the finish button.and then my program doesnt install and it tells me,there was a malfunction,the prgram was not installed successfully??? what program can i use,or what do i do?

Hi! I'm trying to install My Horse and Me the PC game, the installation goes through everything normal and but when I press Finish it gives me this error message
Unhandled Exception
Error Number:0x80040702
Description:Failed to load DLL:GameuxInstallHelper
When I press OK the installation window where you press Finish pops back up and it says

InstallShield Wizard Complete

The wizard was interrupted before MyHorseAndMe could be completely installed.

The system has not been modified.To install this program at a later time,run the installation again.
Click Finish to exit the wizard.
So I press Finish and then if I try to go and find it its not there its been uninstalled. And I have tried installing it several times with no luck .
So if you could please help me that would be wonderful because I really want to play my game.

On the back of you dualshock pad next to the L2 button there is a tiny small hole witch looks like it could be a screw hole ! well this is the reset button once you have pushed this you will be able to conect your pad to your usb cable and it work on your console again

Epson Stylus ->NOT plugged into electricity, ->NOT plugged into the computer with the USB cable, and Windows running on your computer.

1.Place the CD disk that came with your Epson Stylus in your CD or DVD drive. Install the contents to your computer. Restart your computer.
->NOW, plug the USB cable of your Epson into your computer. Plug your Epson into power.
If you hear the Epson setting up, wait until it has finished, before pressing the Power On button.
Press the Power On button of your Epson Stylus. You should get a "Found New Hardware" pop-up, out of your task bar tray at the bottom of your desktop screen.

IF, you have already connected the USB cable from the Epson to your computer, and turned the Epson on, BEFORE you installed the software from the CD, you have to start over.

You have to wipe off the Epson software First, before you do.

Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs.
After Add/Remove Programs has fully loaded,
(Please wait for the list to be populated), scroll down through the list, and -> Remove <- anything you see listed with the Epson name.
It will ask if you wish to restart your computer at this time. Yes! Restart your computer.

After Windows has loaded, follow what I have printed in number 1 above.

If the port had been changed to LPT1 the printer will not work.

LPT1 is the large parallel port, while you are using USB on this printer.

the red light came on probably because of a jam , or because of one of the documents in the printer cue.

The easiest thing to do is

Unplug printer usb.
Go to control panel>installed printer.
Delete all the instances of this printer from there and chose to delete drivers if asked.
Reistall the printer using the printer disk, plug in printer data cable only when asked by setup wizard.

If you have a different USB cable, also use it, just in case.

If that does not fix the problem , then there is an internal fault in the printer.

Hi there. what is the Operating System of the computer? Please turn off the computer totally and plug in the hard drive once its turned off. Use another USB port and USB cable. Once all set in, restart PC and wait for the installation wizard. Once it pops up, run the install wizard and select automatically detecting the driver. Click all the way out to finish. This should be good to go.

USB printers (Windows 98, Me, 2000, and XP only)

1. Make sure that the USB cable is unplugged from your computer and your printer. USB devices work differently from older devices and usually need to have the drivers installed before you connect the device.
   
   
2. If you have an installation disk, insert it into the drive. If there is an installer provided, it should run or be executed here. Follow its instructions, and it should take care of installing your printer in a few moments.
   
   
3. If you don't have an installation program, plug the USB cable into your computer and your printer. This should trigger the Add New Hardware Wizard.
   
   
4. Click Next, and then select Search for the best driver for your device. Click Next.
   
   
5. Uncheck all options except Specify a Location. Click Browse. Browse to the disk, CD, or directory where your printer drivers are located. Click OK, and then click Next twice. Note: You can download some drivers from the web. Consult the web site of your printer's manufacturer, or see Where can I find driver updates for my Windows computer?
   
6. When all the files are copied, click Finish.
   
   
7. Turn on your printer. Windows should detect the printer's presence and finish the installation. If the option to print a test page is offered, do so. This will confirm the installation. Click Finish.

I don't know how much of a solution this is (I have the same problem now), but my computer actually has a slot where the memory card can be inserted by itself. It isn't as convenient, but I can transfer pictures directly from the memory card to the computer.
