when i switch on the set the channel automatically jumps to channel 95 and when the channels are adjusted it jumps back to channel 95

Is this a CB Radio? If so, the selector switch must be shorted, as a CB only works to channel 40. Need more information and model to trouble shoot properly, Sorry. Wished I could do better for you,
