Question about Tomtom ONE GPS Receiver
How do i activate my gps
No maps is not a common error and is usually caused by accidental deletion when hooked to a computer.
TOMTOM Home has the ability to copy missing items back to the device or even do a proper RESTORE if you backed it up.
If you try with TTH then make sure you have the latest version from the TOMTOM web site.
If you have an SD card remove it and try to re-boot the GPS
Tends to fix quite a few problems and is specific to TOMTOM's that have the tiny reset hole on the bottom of the GPS
Commonly known as a "hard reset"
You need a paper-clip or something similar ( Avoid needles )
Paper clip in the tiny hole by the card slot.
Push it in firmly whilst the unit is powered up (not too hard) for about 3 seconds then release
You may have to power down and then up again and even hold down the power button a little longer the first time you do this.
