Question about Motion Computing LE1600 Tablet PC
Motion Computing does not support windows 7 on the le1600.By I did install Windows 7 on the le1600 anyways. It came out OK. Just a few problens with audio and fingerprint reader. I used a usb DVD-ROM, usb mouse/keyboard(Used a generic one). Did not change any default configuration during installation (any regional settings you can do after). For audio I used the Windows XP drivers from the motion's website. Could not make fingerprint reader to work yet.

As far as I am aware windows 7 has not been confirmed for tablets or win CE platform type devices
Check you manuals and any Cd's that came with the 1600 and see if there is some form of reset or original system restore ability.
Microsoft has a win7 compatibility check utility anyone wishing to try win 7 on these types of device is recommended to use that first to identify potential issues.
