When i connect my samsung galaxy express to wi-fi my computer's wi-fi stops working

Hello Ricardo.
How are You? I Guess you need to
1- Check your wi-fi router model.
2- Check your wi-fi settings.
also please check how many devices are connected to your wi-fi at same time. because some routers can only support upto 5 device. you can check this in the settings and also routers manual.

Please let me know, once you done with it.

Regards

Driver

Unfortunately the link isn't easy to give it, because it's far deep in the site. So let's go step by step:
Click at this official link. Click on the "soundblaster" at the center of the screen with this photo:
technical114.png
At the new page, go near the bottom of the page and click on "If your product is not listed above, please click here." At the right side choose "Audigy", at the middle one choose "Audigy 2" and then click on "next" at the lower right. There you are, at last. There are some versions of drivers, choose the right one for your system.

In case of a problem or clarification or further details needed, don't hesitate to post me a reply before rejecting my answer.
If you are satisfied, rate my solution with the "thumbs" or (even better) add a testimonial.

How can i tell the difference between pci slots and pcie slots

The Peripheral Component Interconnect or more commonly known as PCI is a standard for connecting a lot of devices inside your computer to extend its capabilities. Devices like sound cards, modems, NIC, TV Tuners, and some video cards have at some point or another have used the PCI port.
PCI express ( PCI-E ) is a much improved version in terms of speed. PCIe uses a serial interface instead of the old parallel interface used by PCI. It also utilizes individual buses for each of the devices connected to it instead of a shared one like what PCI uses. The difference in speed is quite huge when comparing the standard PCI slot which runs at 133MB/s to a 16 slot PCIe that can send or receive up to 16GB/s.

The most common use for PCIe nowadays is with graphics cards which benefits hugely from the huge bandwidth provided by the interface.
1. PCIe is much faster compared to PCI.
2. PCIe uses a serial interface while PCI uses a parallel interface.
3. PCIe speed is classified into lanes, each capable of delivering up to 1GB/s data transfer.
4. PCI slots are standardized while PCIe slots vary depending on the number of lanes the slot is intended for.
5. Despite PCIe superiority, most manufacturers still use the PCI standard for their devices.

Unlike PCI slots which are the same size for all devices, PCIe slots can differ depending on which form factor it accepts. The longest would be the 16 lane slot and understandably, the shortest is for the x1 devices.

I hope this much information is enough for you to understand the difference between both of them. If you need any more help let me know.. !

I have lost the driver cd of my pci sound card. now i am unable to install sound in my coumputer.

Hello nan_ad

You can download the driver directly from the Creative website by following this link:

http://support.creative.com/downloads/welcome.aspx?nDriverType=1#type_1

You can manually select the language and OS options yourself, or use Creatives Software Autoupdate.

Hope this helps. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you require any further assistance.

What is the sound card and where is it

The sound card is more often than not integrated into your motherboard, check your device manager and you will probably have a realtek sound card. If so it is integrated, the only ones that arent are the Turtle Beach and Creative Labs Soundblaster models which are PCI expansion cards plugged into the motherboard. Ive never heard of manufactured computers using a soundcard that isnt integrated unless you paid for that upgrade.

Chinese soundblaster doesnt fit in pci slot

Are you sure that the card is PCI? Are you sure the slot you are trying to use is PCI?

Check out the wikipedia article. Near the end is a diagram that shows the card and slot layout(s).

Can i use 4.1 speakers for my hcl p2102 laptop?

Hi,
U can use 4.1 speakers with HCL P2102 by connecting stereo pin splitter in Line out and then connecting front and rear spkers.

But U will not get 4.1 surround sound effect as sound card supports 2.1 spkers only, so it is advisable to connect good 2.1 spkers.

PCI

"As of 2007, PCI Express has replaced AGP as the most common interface for graphics cards on new systems. With a few exceptions, all graphics cards being released today (2008) from ATI and NVIDIA use PCI Express. NVIDIA uses the high bandwidth data transfer of PCIe for its newly developed Scalable Link Interface (SLI) technology, which allows two graphics cards of the same chipset and model number to be run as a pair, allowing increased performance. ATI also has developed a dual-GPU system based on PCIe called CrossFire. Towards the end of 2007, AMD released a motherboard chipset, the AMD 790FX, which supports up to four PCIe x16 slots, allowing tri-GPU and quad-GPU configurations for ATI cards.
Uptake for other forms of PC expansion has been much slower and PCI remains dominant. PCI Express is commonly used for onboard gigabit ethernet and wi-fi but add-in cards are still generally PCI, particularly at the lower end of the market. Sound cards, modems, serial port cards and other cards with low-speed interfaces are still nearly all PCI. For this reason most motherboards supporting PCI Express offer legacy PCI slots as well."
