Question about Whirlpool LSR5132PQ Top Load Washer
This is a very common problem.
This could be caused by the filter being blocked - so give it a clean.
It could also be the outlet water pipe being blocked - so give it a clean.
It could also be the drain motor befing defective - so it will need replacing.

If the drain lines were plugged, there may have been enough pressure on the pump to fault out. Make sure the sewer line is completely open, as well as the lines at the pump.

SOURCE: won,t drain on rinse cycle
I had this same problem. I replaced the computer and the relay boards without luck. I found it was the FILL VALVES! Apparently when the washer changes cycles it expects water to fill the tub to a certain level. If the valves are not opening and water not filling the tub will cause the computer to just wait and wait and wait and wont advance to the next cycle.
