Check the cable first. It's easy - put another one. If it works - change the cable.
If Not - check the PC input by connecting another similar camera. If it works with another camera, then Your IEEE camera port is broken and needs to be repaired.
And the order of connection must be:
1. Power off camera.
2. Put IEEE cable on it.
3. Plug another connector of cable on computer.
4. Power on the camera. DON´T TRY TO CONNECT A CAMERA IN A PLAY MODE, it probably can destroy Your camera IEEE port.

I have a Elura 100 Camcorder and have upgraded the 256MB sd card to a 2GB sd card , however, I can copy from cassete to card and play on the camcorder, however when the card is placed in a pc it will not play and shows nothing

My Elura 100 only boots to ''CANON'' blue screen in camera mode. It seems to boot ok in play mode. When it hangs at blue screen it won't power off and I have to remove the battery. Can I take it apart and look for something specific?
