Question about Televison & Video
If the picture is breaking up on a certain channel on DIGITAL (freeview) there are certain things which can cause this. Atmospherics are well-known for causing problems for example, or is that channel tuned to a distant transmitter on analogue reception?
Check that the aerial is in good condition and suitable for what you want (most common one is wideband group W) and make sure your coax cable is good condition too. It may also be a good idea to check the actual coax plug, ensure there is no water ingress (if this is the case, then both aerial and cable will have to be replaced). A badly fitted coax plug can also be problematic.
Hope this has gone some way to helping you.
