I have given more information than it takes to launch the space shuttle, so unless the replace the thing they take into space and put it up urainus. Why can't they send one that is activated or replace it with new one, they only cost 3 cents each at the quantities they make.

Sure its inconvinient & you may have to rely on a good old infalable road atlas for a day or 2 but unfortunately you will not find a miracle cure on here for this particular problem.

When i run xforce as administrator it only generates a 57 number code, which inventor won't accept.
I understand that the largest memory card that can be used in the 710 is only 2gb -
BUT it has to be an SD card not an SDHD card, otherwise it won't work!!
You can activate products by connecting the unit to a USB port of a computer. If The Tomtom Home application is installed on computer it will launch and update the unit. On page 1 of main Home menus there is an icon for activation.
To make things easy for you I am enclosing a screen capture from the HOME 2.7 application.
To reset your TomTomGo710 device, do the following:
Check that the battery is charged properly.
Charge your device for at least 2 hours before trying to turn it on again. Make sure the charging light on your device is on.
Remove the SD card
If your device uses an SD card, remove it.
Reset your device.
Use a straightened paper clip, or something similar, to push the reset
button for 15 seconds. See the pictures below for where to find the
reset button.
Turn your device on.
Press the On/off button for at least 5 seconds.
Insert the SD card
If your device uses an SD card, insert the SD card.
